The newly launched 2025 Nissan Armada has achieved the highly regarded TOP SAFETY PICK+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), reasserting its strong protection under recently tightened crash safety standards.

Advanced Safety Performance

The award follows Armada’s performance in IIHS’s revised moderate overlap front crash test, featuring a second-row dummy that represents a small adult or child. The SUV rated “Good” in all the categories it was required to, such as the small overlap front and revised side impact tests.

It also received “Acceptable” or higher in pedestrian front crash prevention and headlight rating, fulfilling the entire requirement for the highest safety award.
