Renault Group and Geely Auto have confirmed launching the Geely EX5 model in Brazil as the first material fruit of the strategic partnership that they announced last February 2025. Plan is to commence sales in July. This effort is a benchmark achievement for the two companies since it is in line with the aim of them to provide efficient and sustainable driving solutions to evolving markets.

Nationwide Availability

The launch will be backed by a strong network of 60 dealerships, 23 of which will be dedicated to the Geely brand alone in 18 cities of Brazil. To gain momentum, there will be an extensive pre-sale campaign before the launch, thus ensuring high levels of customer pull and brand exposure right from the start.

Geely

“This is a historical moment for Renault Group,” said Luiz Fernando Pedrucci, SVP and CEO of Renault Latin America. “Geely embodies not only a brand, but a combination of technology, innovation, and courage.” In line with this, Alex Nan, Vice President of Geely Auto, asserted, “Brazil’s vibrant automotive industry offers a perfect environment for our further international growth.”

Developed through collaborative effort among Geely’s design facilities in Gothenburg, Shanghai, Coventry, and Milan, the EX5 boasts a world-class level of design and engineering. With left-hand and right-hand drive versions, the EX5 meets regulation standards in over 90 countries.
