Polestar (Nasdaq: PSNY), the Swedish electric performance car brand, announced a strong 76% year-over-year retail sales growth in Q1 2025, with an estimated 12,304 vehicles sold worldwide. Sales were steady versus Q4 2024 despite a turbulent economic environment. This growth reflects the brand’s successful transition to a more engaged selling model and broader retail network.

Model Line-Up and Technical Features
Polestar currently offers three unique models in 27 markets worldwide across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific:
- Polestar 2: An electric fastback with energetic driving dynamics, available with up to 469 hp and 740 Nm torque in the Performance model. The car is imbued with Scandinavian minimalism, combined with vibrant driving behavior.
- Polestar 3: The all-electric grand touring SUV. A dual-motor powertrain churning up to 517 hp and 910 Nm torque, the Polestar 3 is all set for extended ranges and high-end driver assistive technology.
- Polestar 4: A coupé SUV of the future, Polestar 4 offers up to 544 hp and 686 Nm of torque, performance combined with pioneering design.

Other additions to the line-up include the Polestar 5, a four-door GT due in 2025; the Polestar 6 roadster; and the Polestar 7, a compact SUV to be produced in Europe.
Manufacturing and Sustainability Roadmap
Polestar’s manufacturing now reaches across North America and Asia, with additional diversification on the horizon. Polestar has also pledged to reduce per-vehicle greenhouse gas emissions by half by 2030 and by 2040 become climate neutral. Its sustainability agenda reaches across four pillars: Climate, Transparency, Circularity, and Inclusion.

The group will release its 2024 full-year results and submit its annual Form 20-F by April 2025. In light of changing geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainty, Polestar is closely tracking conditions and is responsive in adjusting its operations.
